Life Square

Life Square

This is my painting of the colourful Life Square with a black dot in the centre. The various colours of different shades depict the multiple phases and numerous times of our lives. You can take it in two ways, one as the journey of a person from a child to an old individual and the other way, that there are both happiness and sadness in life but they are not permanent. The white lines which are not coloured show the emptiness we face inside us sometimes. Eventually, everyone has to face the truth at the end, the black dot in the middle, the end of the journey, death. But before that, we can be successful snd can make our lives prosperous and flourishing by following our passions and helping the world.

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO MAKE THIS :

1. Take any paper. I used this leftover square-shaped paper scrap.

2. Divide the paper into four equal rectangular parts by drawing two lines in the middle with a grey or any light coloured sketch pen, one lengthwise and the other breadthwise. Don't use a scale. Remember, our painting has to be a bit messy. So let the line be drawn freehand. After that put a dot with a black marker or sketch pen at the intersection point of the two lines.
After this, start painting the small rectangles like this :
Remember you have to use four different colours in the four different rectangles but their different shades have to be used in each.

3. Fill the second rectangle. Remember to make it a bit messy. It's ok to leave white spaces.

4. Fill the third rectangle.

5. Fill the fourth or the last rectangle.

...and our painting is ready!

hope you like it.
